OpenHeritage at ICADLA-4 conference in Ghana

Delegates from cultural heritage organisations across Africa gathered in Ghana this week for the ICADLA-4 conference, hosted by the University of Ghana. Foremost on the agenda was digitising collections for preservation and accessibility, issues that we at OpenHeritage feel very strongly about.

Mariagrazia Galimberti presented the OpenHeritage model to an audience of librarians, archivists and heritage workers. The talk was met with particular enthusiasm by Ghanaian and Nigerian representatives. We hope this will see OpenHeritage soon spreading its network in West Africa.
